Solution Design (RFID)
The Lift & Learn experience is set up according to the requirements of the customer by a technical provider.
Under the shelf, one or more antennas are distributed in a cavity below.
Those are wired each to an antenna controller box, hidden behind the stand.
Required Material
- A PC with Windows 10 or Ubuntu Linux 20.04 with USB ports.
- At least capable of fluid video reproduction.
- A compatible display (TV, monitor, etc...).
- A shelf/table/surface prepared to accomodate a RFID antenna (usually under it).
- Nexmosphere Sensors and actuators:
- RFID reader and antenna(s), controllers and cables.
- (Optionally, LED actuators, Distance sensors, etc)

The required material will depend on:
- Number of products being shown.
- Size of the products.
- Size of the surface.
- Distance between products on the surface.
The antenna disposition is sensitive to interference, both from itself and from nearby metal. We recommend double checking all the separations between antennas, tags and products. You can check a brief introduction in our technical note RFID Antenna Placement

Solution Design (Wireless)
The wireless montage is far simpler. Several tags are paired with an EM-F#
station.
There are 1, 4 and 8 channel variants (EM-F1
, EM-F4
, EM-F8
) of the base stations. Each channel manages one tag**.
Those are connected via a base controller and a serial to USB cable to the PC.
