Broox computer vision software runs on the edge, where the incoming video signal is processed and analyzed. After that the images are automatically deleted. The Broox Vision Node is the part of the Broox Platform software that processes images and video with computer vision and artificial intelligence capabilites:

  • Detects human faces in real time
  • Tracks each person that is detected while they remain within the the camera's field of view
  • Anonimously calculates several metrics such as gender, age, mood and attention time

All these metrics are numeric indicators. Personal information though remains fully anonymous:

  • The numeric indicators are formed into anonymous aggregate data.
  • The computer vision process occurs in real time (in milliseconds) and doesn't store any visual information. It guarantees absolute privacy.

Broox Vision Node software shall not be considered to be a video surveillance system since it does not record any video files. Broox Vision Node shall not be considered to be a face recognition software since it detects and analyzes but it can't recongnize a person. Getting personal information of an individual is impossible. Broox anonimyzed data is used in 2 cases:

  • To be sent in real time to other devices to trigger targeted content
  • To be written in a text file to later be sent to the Broox Server to be aggregated for analytics purposes.
